Nicki Minaj Breaks Billboard Record
Nicki Minaj is making Billboard history after being announced as the first female rapper to have 7 entries on the “Hot 100.”
Minja is credited on seven songs that are on Nielsen Soundscan's tally of the 200 best selling songs of 2010 with a total of 4,928,000 copies sold.
The songs are Ludacris “My Chick Bad”(1,246,000), Lil Wayne “Knockout” (519,000), Trey Songz “Bottoms Up” (518,000), Usher “Lil Freak” (508,000), Sean Kingston “Letting Go (377,000), Jay Sean “2012” (355,000) and her single “Your Love” (775,000).
As previously reported, Minaj was credited with having the first single by a female emcee to top Billboard's “Rap Songs” category in over seven years with “Your Love.”
Her album Pink Friday hits stores November 23.
