Diddy Clears Up Nicki Minaj Management Rumors

Diddy is clearing up confusion about the rumor that he's been fired as Nicki Minaj's manager.

Earlier this week, a reported press release from the Barbie surfaced cutting off ties with Diddy and naming executive Benny Medina as the new man in charge.

“By now, everyone should now that I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for Sean however I feel as if I haven't gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I'm being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress. I'd like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing. I wish him the best with repping Rick [Ross]. But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games. If I could turn back time…I wouldn't have made the decision to let Troy go.”


Diddy says however that the release is completely false, especially considering that he was never officially signed on to be Minaj's manager in the first place.
He tells Funkmaster Flex,

“With the Nicki thing, that was something me and her made sure we didn't define or kept a mystery so I don't go around saying I'm her manager. We work together in a certain type of unofficial capacity. But I don't really know where they really got that from.”


Minaj also previously addressed the rumor telling her followers on Twitter,

“Lmao. i've never met benny medina a day in my life. we good on this side.”

What exactly did Diddy clear up? She oviously dumped him because neither he or she denied or sufficiently addressed the press release. Diddy actually side stepped the question.

now she's changing her story and saying she never met benny medina? looks like they're both side stepping the question. or she's just flat out lying.
