Bobby Tillman Punched, Kicked, Stomped to Death At Party

Four Atlanta teenagers have been arrested after the group jumped and killed another teen at a party.

According to published reports, Bobby Tillman was walking down a street when he was jumped by four teens for “being the next person who walked by”.

Police state that the two of the four teen men were involved in an altercation with two females, when one of the men was punched by a girl. Rather than take out his anger on the female, police say that the man threatened the next male who walked by-that happened to be Tillman.

"It's amazing," Douglas County Maj. Tommy Wheeler told reporters. "He had nothing to do with anything, they just decided he's the one. And they killed him."

Authorities state that Tillman was beat by multiple attackers beat and stomped him until he was unconscious, Deputies arriving at the scene tried to administer CPR to the teen but he didn't survive.

District Attorney David McDade said the four teens will be charged for the crime of murder in the death of the 18-year-old and Tillman's mother said she wants justice for her son.

"He was my only son. He was my best friend. He was an angel here on earth and I was blessed to be his mother," Monique Rezaida said. "My son did not die in vain. My son is a silent hero. He touched so many lives I didn't know about. Bobby was a ray of sunshine through every dark cloud."


Douglas County Coroner Randy Daniel gave the official cause of death November 8, stating Tillman died of blunt force trauma to the head and chest.

Court records show that Quantez Devonta Mallory, Horace Damon Coleman, Emanuel Benjamin Boykins and Tracen Lamar Franklin are the four men charged with Tillman's murder.

I can not agree more with the comment above. They aint got nothing else better to do. BUT it doesn't fall on the president's fault. It is the mothers who brought them into this world.     Its ridiculously sad that our kids have to be afraid to go to school or to go out to events and parties because ignorant fools like this hva ethe mind of a killer. Our innocent kids are being placed in harms way even as they walk by calmly doing nothing,bothering *****ody.This mess has to be stopped immediately.Something has to happen.I pray that someone steps up and do something about this.And any kid that plays a part in a terrible thing like this should be trialed as an adult seriously.Because they know better and know what they are doing and know what the outcome of this type of mess could do to a kid.When they make up in their minds or decide to do things like this they know right from the jump that this is either going to hurt this person badly or kill them. I really hate this happened to this kid and hate that his mother has to endure such pain from this.His picture shown above reminds me of my son and Lord I dread having to get a call from someone saying that my son was hurt or killed this way.

    Well my take is that, who cares how old they are, they TOOK a life they should GIVE a life. Why should we hard working Americans have to pay for his FULL life incarceration. Bobby mite not have wanted it because he sounded like a very nice young man with a big heart, but I know if it was my son, I would want to do KILL them myself. American needs to bring hanging back as the death penalty, then maybe some of this craziness mite stop. My prayers go out to his mother Ms. Monique........

    This is just out of control! What is wrong with us today? We have lost our since of humanity. This was reckless and unwarranted. I cannot seem to wrap my head around this kind of random violence. I have long been an opponent of the death penalty, but people like this who commit these random acts of violence need to be put to death as well. My prayers are with the young man's family.

    This breaks my heart so many ways. I didn't even know Bobby Tillman and I cried my eyes out when I heard how he was killed. I live in Dville. My kids go to school here. 2 - 3 times a week they come home talking about a big fight at school. They good kids - they stay out of it. But I always worry they'd be collateral damage. Bobby Tillman getting beat to death for no reason shows I have every reason to worry.

    My kids talk about these wanna be thugs who think it's all that to be "gangsta." They think they impress if they say 'we from Bankhead' like it's something to be proud of, instead of saying they from Douglasville. Whoever said where are their parents speaks the truth. I don't like the way a lot of black kids are coming up but truth be told it's not black kids that's the problem it's bad parenting or no parent. And there's a lot of white and other kids causing trouble for the same reason.

    Someone said NAACP came in screaming about rights of kids that got took away for questioning. Not saying those kids shouldn't have their rights respected - just wondering where the h*** the NAACP is with a program or something to help kids in Dville get it thru their immature head that "gangsta"is nothing outside their little circle of thugs.     Just read the homicide report published in the L.A. times alone, and you'll quickly see that, on any given weekend, more innocent victims are senselessly slaughtered in the US than in both Afghanistan and Iraq combined in any given MONTH!!

    Go ahead. Look it up!
