Martha Reeves made a big splash in the music industry with the group Martha Reeves and the Vandellas.

With hit singles like "Jimmy Mack", "Dancing in the Street" and "Nowhere to Run," Reeves has had a successful career that even recently in the past years led her to become a councilwoman for Detroit.

However, even councilwomen can't stop the government, as the soul singer owes the IRS $280,000.
