Prodigy Of Mobb Deep Anticipates Prison Release And Lands A Book Deal For His Autobiography
Prodigy, one half of the rap duo Mobb Deep, is anticipating a release from prison next year and will be dropping his upcoming autobiography titled “My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy.”
Shooting for a release date of April 19th, 2011, the book centers on Prodigy's upbringing, as well as his experiences in crime, the music businesses, and how he ended up going to prison.
The rapper is currently finishing a three-year prison sentence after being caught with a loaded .22 handgun in October of 2006.
This occurred while he was driving in Manhattan with producer The Alchemist in a bulletproof SUV.
My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy, which was written by Prodigy along with Laura Checkoway and will be released by book publishing company Simon and Schuster.
