Court Hearing For Murder Charges Against Lil Boosie Postponed
Louisiana Rapper Lil Boosie was scheduled to appear in court earlier today (January 12) on murder charges, but the hearing has been postponed according to Baton Rouge media outlets.
Torrence “Lil Boosie” Hatch was expected in court this morning to face the murder rap of Terry Boyd, 35, who was shot through a window on Oct. 21, 2009 while inside his home.
Hatch pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in connection with Boyd’s death in June 2010.
Hatch and three others, including Michael Louding, known as Marlo Mike, were scheduled to appear in court, but their cases were moved to a later date.
They also face multiple drug and conspiracy charges in the same case.
Additionally, Louding, 17, has been charged with killing local rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson, who was embroiled in a dispute with Lil Boosie.
Hatch could face the death penalty if found guilty for Boyd’s murder.
