Dr. Phil Convinces Ted Williams To Check In To Rehab
Ted “The Golden Voice” Williams is headed back to rehab to battle drug and alcohol addiction.
The recovering addict turned YouTube sensation agreed to enter a private facility after a lengthy one-on-one interview with Dr. Phil McGraw that is set to air today, according to a statement from the show.
“If Ted is ever going to get better, he’s got to be honest with himself and admit he’s addicted to drugs and alcohol,” the statement from “Dr. Phil” says. “I’ve told him it’s not going to be easy and it’s going to take a lot of hard work. It might be a long journey for him, but this is a big step in the right direction.”
Since taking off on YouTube Williams has been hit with numerous job offers and has voiced a Kraft Foods commercial. As previously reported, Williams got into an altercation with his daughter about his drinking and being an absentee father in the past.
