Mariah Carey is tacking on even more good news onto the announcement of her pregnancy now that she’s revealing that she’s expecting both a twin boy and a twin girl.
The R&B diva previously confirmed that she was pregnant with twins in December after her husband Nick Cannon boasted about it on his radio show.
Now the songstress is sharing her latest baby news with Life & Style magazine and says that anxious fans held contests to guess the sex of the babies but none were right about the shocking news.
“Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything gender-neutral, because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon…There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys and two girls — but nobody guessed this!”
Mariah’s twins are due in April.
