Rapper Dorrough’s House Raided By DEA

Authorities raided Texas rapper Dorrough’s Dallas home, early Tuesday (February 8) morning, according to reports.

According to media outlets, several DEA agents kicked in the rapper’s door on suspicion of drug trafficking and searched the dwelling looking for evidence. A statement has yet to be released from authorities but according to the rapper’s rep,

“All they found were gold & platinum plaques on the walls.”

By afternoon Dorrough had this statement posted on his Twitter account, presumably concerning the morning incident:

“My day started off f***d up… Which means today will be a great day!”

The rapper who is best known for his 2009 single, “Ice Cream Paint Job” then had a explanation of the situation posted on Ozonemag.com claiming the raid was unwarranted.

“Although the home of the Dallas, TX native is lavish and complimented with vehicles to match, the DEA found no evidence and could not make an arrest after an elaborate investigation which may have been stereotype driven,” the statement reads.

Dorrough just released a new mixtape with DJ Drama, entitled Gangsta Grillz: Code Red, on February 3.
