D'Angelo Pleads Guilty To Disorderly Conduct After Soliciting Police Officer Disguised As Prostitute

D'angelo Settles Case From New York Arrest

R&B singer D'Angelo has plead guilty to disorderly conduct stemming from a 2010 arrest for soliciting a prostitute.

The 37-year-old D'Angelo was arrested in March 2010 after police said he tried to pay $40 for a sex act to an undercover officer posing as a prostitute.

D'Angelo, 37, appeared in a Manhattan court on Friday (11Mar11) and entered his plea for the lesser charge of disorderly conduct.

Prosecutors claim the offence is a violation, not a crime, and state that the star has satisfied their conditions, although they have refused to go into detail about the settlement, according to the Associated Press.

No word yet though on if we'll ever get another album...
