Police Name Person Of Interest In Murder Of Rapper Magnolia Shorty
Police may have a suspect in the murder of New Orleans rapper Magnolia Shorty.
Authorities are searching for 24-year-old Brandon Singleton, who may have information in connection to the double slaying of Renetta “Magnolia Shorty” Lowe and Jermone “Man Man” Hampton.
The 28-year-old female rapper and Hampton, 25, were gunned down and found by police with multiple gunshot wounds in New Orleans December 20, 2010.
Maganolia Shorty was a former Cash Money Records artist, discovered by Bryan “Birdman” Williams, who along with Lil Wayne, attended her funeral in December.
A benefit concert was also held on December 26th in New Orleans to honor the slain rapper.
