3-Year-Old Toddler Shoots And Kills Mother
Toddler Fatally Shoots Mom in the Back
In what police in Miramar, Florida are labeling an accident, a toddler allegedly fired a loaded handgun and killed his mother, 33-year-old Julia Bennett.
"At least it appears that he is not aware of exactly what it was that happened," said Miramar Police spokesperson Tania Rues about the young boy.
The 911 call came from a man inside the house but he was not placed under arrest.
The shooting is still under investigation since authorities are not sure how he obtained the weapon.
