Mary J. Blige Auctioning Off Internship With Jay-Z To Help Charity
Mary J. Blige recently launched an auction to help continue her work for charity.
As a follow up to her recent Honors charity concert in May, the R&B singer has teamed up with auction site Charitybuzz to raise funds for her nonprofit organization Ffawn (Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now).
Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera are joining Mary J.’s efforts by auctioning off various prizes through Blige’s Ffawn Online Auction.
Jay-Z is auctioning a chance to internship with his Roc Nation company. Lady Gaga is allowing an auction winner and a guest to meet her when she performs on Good Morning America in NYC.
Christina Aguilera donated tickets to attend a taping of the NBC hit show The Voice in June in Los Angeles. And Blige is auctioning the chance to meet her on the set of her new film Nina.
Proceeds benefit Ffawn’s mission to empower and encourage women by shaping and supporting programs that foster education, career development, strong self-esteem, and personal growth. Bidding is open through June 1st at www.charitybuzz.com/Ffawn.
