Tupac Screenplay Given Green Light For Production
2Pac Screenplay To Be Developed Into Film
The mother of rapper Tupac Shakur will executive produce a screen play written by her later son a year before his untimely death.
Afeni Shakur and NStar Studios – producers of Tupac Ressurection – will bring to life the tale of a young drug dealer trying to go straight, written by Pac during his 11-month prison bid in 1995. The story entitled, Live To Tell is scheduled to go into production sometime next year.
The budget for the film has been set at $11 million. No release date has been given.
