NFL Player Aqib Talib Indicted In Alleged Gun Incident
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cornerback Aqib Talib Indicted On Gun Charge
Another day, another NFL player makes the news for an incident off the field.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib has been indicted on a gun charge for allegedly firing a weapon at his sister's boyfriend.
According to reports, Talib was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by a Dallas County grand jury on Friday.
Garland, Texas police believe Talib and his mother shot at the man back in March. (Luckily) The man was not injured, and Talib is out of jail on $25,000 bond.
Talib's attorneys Jay Reisinger and Frank Perez said they believe the four-year NFL player will be cleared because the grand jury “was not privy to a number of important facts.”
Talib was a first round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2008.
Note To NFL Owners: Get these players back on the field before someone gets hurt.
