Rapper Rhymefest Diagnosed With Type 2 Diabetes & Admitted Into ER
Chicago emcee Rhymefest has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after checking himself into the emergency room.
According to posts on his Twitter account from an unnamed source, the former Chicago mayoral candidate has had the disease for years and was unaware of it.
Fest entered the hospital on June 2nd, with his sugar levels reaching 739 mg/dL, while normal levels would be around 80 mg/dL.
Unaware of his condition, Fest almost ended up in a diabetic coma where the results could of been far worse.
After his diagnosis, he is currently awaiting to be released from the ER and thanks everyone for their praises and comforting words.
