California Mom Murders Her Baby In Microwave
California Mom, Ka Yang, Charged With Murder After She Microwaves Baby To Death
With many stories recently of parents harming their own children, 29-year-old Ka Yang adds her name to the list of unstable parents as her six-week-old baby, Mirabelle Thao-Lo, was found dead from what was believed to be extensive thermal injuries from a microwave.
The Sacramento mother is being held without bail and her three boys under the age of 7 have been removed from her home.
What was initially reported by Yang as a seizure took three months to investigate because similar cases had to be observed.
The coroner's office reported this as "...probably the worst case I've ever seen."
Police report no motive and no mental condition discovered in the case of the murdered daughter.
Officer Laura Peck said,
"That will be up to the court system. The bottom line is no one knows what happened in that house but her and the little baby."
