T-Boz Encourages Bone Marrow Donors In PSA [Video]
Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins Calls On African Americans To Step Up And Donate Bone Marrow
TLC member T-Boz knows what it's like to suffer from an illness, the 41-year-old was diagnosed with the blood disorder sickle-cell anemia as a child but she never let it stop her.
In honor of African American Bone Marrow Awareness month, T-Boz is speaking up as a spokesperson for Be the Match, a non-profit organization that links patients with donors giving them hope for a cure to their ailments.
The Atlanta native singer revealed last year that she underwent surgery to remove grapefruit-sized tumor removed from her brain. Check out her video encouraging African-Americans to become donors.
