Lil Wayne & Rick Ross- I Am Still Music Tour

Lil Wayne and Rick Ross invaded Raleigh, North Carolina Friday during the I Am Still Music Tour. Rozay performed some of his MMG classics as well some new cuts like ‘Tupac Back,” and even came out a second time for a dual performance during Weezy’s set.

The most engaging show of the night of course was Lil Wayne’s, who performed a number of songs from his catalog off of past projects ranging from No Ceilings mixtape to Tha Carter II. During “Fireman” the Young Money mogul brought out Birdman, which further accessorized the theatrics of the show, Erotic dancers, a backdrop of lights, and a live band.

Wayne’s energy was on a hundred, and with the Rock N Roll influence in full effect, at times we even forgot this was a Hip-Hop show.

Wayne performed some new cuts like “I’m Single” and “How To Love,” before bringing out his protege Shanell for her own mini set. The show then concluded with a nearly complete performance of “Bedrock.”

Maybach Music and Cash Money weren’t the only ones in attendance. Far East Movement opened up the show with radio hits “Like A G6” and “Rocketeer.” Keri Hilson then followed with a back drop resembling that of her No Boys Allowed album, and sung her heart out to “Pretty Girl Rock” and “One Night Stand.”

Lloyd was the last to go up before Rozay’s set, and made the ladies swoon with singles off of his King of Hearts album.

After the jump, check out more footage from Lil Wayne and Rick Ross’ live performance, as well as video from their set at the Ciroc afterparty in D.C.
