Prince Sued For $700,000
Prince Facing $700,000 Lawsuit
Prince is the latest celebrity to face litigation now that the singer/songwriter's been sued for legal fees.
Prince, full name Prince Rogers Nelson, is being taken to court by a New York city law firm who claims he owes more than $700,000 for services.
The Associated Press reports that the “Purple Rain” singer is being sued by Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler who claim that he musician failed to pay them for handling cases in Ireland, California and New York.
The law firm also says it wasn't paid for representing him in his divorce and he has only paid $125,000.
He is being sued in the state Supreme Court in Manhattan.
