50 Cent Denounces Congressman Lamborn

50 Cent recently spoke out over racists statements that were levied towards President Obama by Republican Congressman Doug Lamborn who labeled the Commander In Chief as a "tar baby” in a recent interview.

Though Lamborn recently recanted his statement, Fif didn't think Lamborn's apology was enough Tweeting,

“Republican congressman Doug Lamborn should be re leaved of his duties after calling president Obama a tar baby,” he wrote.

“Tar baby is a synonym for n*gger, except it is only used in bigoted manners, were as n*gga can be a sign of respect.”

“The term comes from a children's story in witch they explain that slaves were"dark and dumb"due to the fact they were" baptized in TAR" #SK.”

“I can't find a more disrespectful or ignorant way to describe the race or depiction of our president,” he added.

Lamborn recently told a Denver radio show host,

"I don't even want to have to be associated with [Obama]. It's like touching a 'tar baby.'"

The Colorado representative has since released a public apology for his racial slur.

    AMEN @ brotherap

I truly believe in my heart that some of these politicians never thought a black man would become President of the United States of America and they just can't handle it.

To brotherap, no matter who does it or says it. Its still not right so if now 50 wants to take a stand on it and show how he has matured and stopped using the N word as a term of endearment or for anything let him. Why criticize him and other black people. Why not just join the fight against racist people no matter what! Take a stand and let them know not any more especially on a public forum to just be so direspectful to anyone not just our president! When you make comments like the one you posted it sends a message that's its alright to be hurtful and the senator won't see the wrong and hurt he's causing. If 50 wants to pick this fight I'm with him because racism has no place on earth! Brother and let's be responsible for our actions words are like bullets they hurt like hell and once you pull that trigger you can't stop the pain its going to cause. God Bless Brother.

Peice, I think that was beautifully said. It's not about all the negativity and critism being slammed around these days and perhaps if a few of us take a stand as 50-Cent has, maybe it won't fall on deaf ears. I got his message and took it for what it was worth without picking it and him all apart and it really isn't hard to do. You know not everybody is going to get it, and not everybody at the same time, but perhaps if we continue to embrace and speak on the positive, we might touch an ear, one at a time! Thanks for your inspiration today!

It us a shame that the whole entire black entertainment community has not and did not stand up for our president, but its ashame for us consumers to because we still support those that can make a difference. The Hip-Hop Report shows that it "Hip-Hop" is a very very loud venue that all nationalities FOLLOW!
Hip-Hop/Rapidly Community gas no excuse on making a difference.

The Congressman is just doing what has become acceptable in the conservative community. It started with the Congressman from South Carolina who called President Obama a liar during a State of the Union address. Rush Limbaugh made a comment about the President turning. gray. I paraphrase that Rush said if you had to live with a woman like Michelle Obama, you would be gray too. What if Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson had made similar remarks about Nancy Reagan?

Well, the so called idiots in the house will be surprised when the president win second term with a wide margin. They promised jobs, jobs, jobs last election where is the job GOP. They want to blame the president for everything even stuff they did for the past 8 years. 2 megawars, big pay off to pharmaceuticals, tax break to the rich.

"They want to blame the president for everything even stuff they did for the past 8 years. 2 megawars, big pay off to pharmaceuticals, tax break to the rich."

And they did all of the above with big talking Texas swagger, while all of the Republican peons gave their solid endorsement or utter silence. Now even whites are afraid of their lack of public civility and lack of job creativity. It signifies less political confidence in a Republican administration, and at least a sense of belief that reasonableness and less puffery prevails with Obama. Thus, predictably, Obama wins by a furlong next election.
