Justin Timberlake Holding Vegas Benefit Concert

Justin Timberlake is heading back to Vegas this year for his annual Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, a seven-day schedule of events.

Taking place Sept. 25-Oct. 2, 2011 at TPC Summerlin, Timberlake’s annual concert is Saturday, Oct 1 at The Theatre for the Performing Arts at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

This year the singer has an “Old School Jam,” theme and is bringing out artists who have influenced his career.

The concert line-up features Earth, Wind & Fire, Charlie Wilson, Vanilla Ice, the Commodores, the Sugar Hill Gang, Sister Sledge, Turbo B and Color Me Badd.

Comedian Wayne Brady will also co-host the event with Timberlake.

Shriners Hospitals for Children is a pediatric health care system specializing in orthopedics, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate.

All services are provided regardless of the patients’ ability to pay.

There are 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children, with locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Tickets go on sale Monday, August 15 at 10 a.m., PST, online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, and at The Theatre for the Performing Arts box office at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Las Vegas.

Limited auction for “VIP package” to include priority concert seating, meet and greet and autographed photo.

Auction is hosted by Ticketmaster, begins with initial onsales and ends August 24 at 5 p.m., PST.
