Jennifer Hudson Opens Weight Watchers Center
Jennifer Hudson continues her Weight Watchers expedition by opening a new center in her hometown of Chicago.
The songstress made jaw dropping appearances when she lost 80 pounds with the program and now looks to use it to inspire others.
Hudson visited the Windy City for her Jennifer Hudson Weight Watchers Center opening in the Hyde Park neighborhood where Mayor Rahm Emanuel was among those in attendance.
“I never thought I would make it to have my own center,” said Jennifer. “I'm so honored to be here and see this day.”
In honor of Hudson's Julian D. King Foundation, Weight Watchers will be donating a portion of the center's revenue to the organization.
Initiated after the death of nephew, Jennifer started the foundation to serve as a support system to murder victim's friends and families.
“I love to target children, because that's the thing that makes a difference,” she said. “We hope to do the same thing and start here at home in Chicago with health, with education, with dreams.”
