T.I. Talks New Album

T.I. fans might not have much of a wait to get the King of The South’s new album.

As Tip revealed in an interview with The Boombox, his next LP could be here as soon as February, although the Atlanta rapper isn’t feeling pressed to finish it.

“I mean, I don’t feel a certain amount of pressure to get it done by a certain time,” T.I. said.

“I feel the usual pressure of making an album my life, like every time I do an album I feel the pressure of needing to make it my life, you know?

“But I take that pressure and apply it to my creative process. The tentative date is looking like February.”

Tip also spoke on his new music, saying:

“I got something to prove to myself. I ain’t got nothing to prove to nobody else ’cause at the end of the day, I’m a marquee artist and I think my numbers speak for themselves.”

“I’m on my eighth album and ain’t nobody eight albums in right now, who’s really relevant.”

“Besides Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, it ain’t a lot [laughs]. You know what I’m saying? Ain’t a lot.”

“So, I got something to prove to myself, not nobody else. I always knew and I will always know what I’m capable of.”
