Alley Boy from Duct  Tape seems to have a problem with T.I. and other rappers claiming to be represent the streets when they have far been removed from the life. [More]

In this interview with Ms. Rivercity, he goes in saying,

"When I say this my city, I feel like my city because I'm the only one acative as far as an artist that's still active in the streets.  My Zaggins still active... I really feel like Zaggins that been in the forefront ain't really been speaking up for the city the way they supposed to.

They probably done got they money.  They rich.  So you know how easy it is for a rich Zaggin to ignore certain situations because they got so big until they money start to decline.  And then  when they feel the fans ain't Fu%%ing with fake ish they been putting out... That's when they go to "Real Zaggins is back in it. "

I stand for the city, for those who don' t rap... who out here waring in the streets  doing whatever it takes because it's Fizzuked up out here.  Ain't no bricks in the city or no ish like that.  Dope still selling but ain't no  major ish going on like that.  All that "flexin" and ish that Zaggins talking about so I feel like the ish I be talking about... there's more to what's going on and I always try to stay relevant because I'm still in this ish.  My Zaggin is still in this ish so I know first hand what the Fizzuk be going on.

Zaggins be wondering why they can't pop off or drop a single or whatever but its because Zaggins don't want to hear that "Flexing."   Ni%%as don't want to hear no rich A$$ Zaggin flexing.  I won't even say a rich Zaggin, I'd say a Zaggin ain't in the streets like that no more.  You not talking about what the Fizzuk we got going on [in the streets]."

He also discuuses his recent arrest and his upcoming project Niggannati .

    He actually has a great point, hip hop is supposed to be a representation of it's supporters and currently the music is "unrelateable." We love 2 see some1 make it but keep the song content relevant. Brings to mind Jay & Kanye's Otis where he says "You aint accustomed to goin 2 through customs, u aint been no where huh?" or some mess like that. It's like they dissing their audience & flashing it our face & sum people are even gullible enough to soak it all up. I kno it may be cliche' to say this but Tupac is a great example of an artist that continued to make music FOR THE PEOPLE throught his career. He never talked AT us, he spoke FOR us.

      Tupac also died at 24 because he refused to evolve and deal with the world through the eyes of someone who saw more than just the block. Hip Hop should be used as a tool of exposure. Traveling the world is a great thing to aspire to do.

        I disagree, tupac's whole career was an evolution beyond the block, he didnt just brag or diss his listening audience but choose to find our inner struggles n be the spokesperson for those on the block all over the "world"
