HBO Cancels ‘How To Make It In America’

Despite showing promise after a couple of seasons, today HBO announced that it is canceling ‘How To Make It In America.’

The series followed the exploits of Ben Epstein (actor Bryan Greenberg) and Cam Calderon (Victor Rasuk), a pair of savvy NYC fashion designers on the come up who are steadily looking for their big break.

The now canceled show’s Hip-Hop roots ran deep. Besides it’s New York City backdrop, the cast also featured Kid Cudi, who’s character Domingo Brown was getting significantly more screen time this last season. Also,  Clipse member and G.O.O.D. Music solo rapper Pusha T also made cameos on the small screen during its second, and now last,  season. The show’s soulful theme song, “I Need A Dollar,” became a hit for Cali singer (and rapper) Aloe Blacc.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the shows ‘Hung’ and ‘Bored To Death’ were also canned.

Should ‘How To Make It In America’ have been given more time to develop?
