J. Cole, Lupe Fiasco & Their Moms On The Grammy Red Carpet [Video]
During Touré's interview with J.Cole on the red carpet, Lupe Fiasco dropped by as both MC's shared a story about their Grammy experience. During the discussion each artist brought their mother's in to talk about the achievements of their son's, and what they think of their musical talents.
"It's amazing, considering what he was writing at twelve and thirteen," Lupe's mother told Touré.
"I've always wanted him to write in some form, and rap is poetry" added J.Cole's mother, "You have to stimulate and nurture your child's goals."
While both Cole and Lupe were very enthusiastic throughout the interview, the North Carolina MC would evoke very different emotions after learning the winner for Best New Artist was Bon Iver. Maybe the hint at a collaborative effort between he and Lupe can turn things around next year.
