Trey Songz Breaks Bad And Is Sued Over “Yuup”
Late last year, apparently Trey Songz was stuck at home watching a Storage Wars marathon when he heard something that got him hot under the collar. Storage Wars star David “The Mogul” Hester’s “Yup” sounded a little close to his signature “Yup,” so Trey had his legal team take action. The singer’s lawyers sent Hester a cease and desist letter demanding that he stop using a phrase that has probably been used since man started making recognizable sound. As a result, Hester filed a suit with Songz claiming that the two “Yuups” were different saying Trey’s was more of a “non-human squeal.”
