Tyga Says Drama With Opening Act Led To Omaha Concert Shooting [LISTEN]
YMCMB rapper Tyga called in to LA's Power 106 and spoke about the shooting in Omaha, Nebraska that left his artist, Honey Coca-ne, with a gunshot wound to her arm. The "Rack City" rapper threatened a concertgoer to "See me outside" after he threw a bottle onto the stage. The Midwest thugs took him up on his offer, and shot up the rapper's tour bus. It turns out Tyga knew exactly who the disrespectful culprits were.
"I mean, I'm a chill person. But a person wants to be disrespectful... I'm trying to put on a great show for people that paid money see me," Tyga told Power 106's Yesi Ortiz. "Somebody want to throw a bottle, but nobody want to say who threw the bottle. It's just childish stuff."
Tyga added, "I don't never be trying to start drama. But when you get disrespected as a man there's certain stuff you won't allow."
Midwest cat clearly don't play, though. From what Tyga says, the drama stemmed from a local act wanting to open the show, but getting vetoed from performing by the artist.
"These aren't fans, so this situation...it escalated because I want to do the show," explained Tyga. "I was dealing with the same people from the beginning of the day before the show even started. They wanted to cancel the show, it was a bunch of drama going on already. That was the full situation."
Please note that no point does Tyga say it was the aforementioned local act that shot up his tour bus. Footage of the goons, who happened to be dressed in red, is creeping up online. Listen to the full interview below.
