As the Secret Service continues to do damage control following one of the biggest prostitution scandals in the nation, one person disappointed in their extracurricular activities is President Obama. During his interview with Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, airing Tuesday (April 24) night, Obama defended the agency, but lashed out at those under fire for their indiscretions. “The Secret Service these guys are incredible,” he said. “They protect me. They protect Michelle. They protect our girls. They protect our officials all around the world. 99.9% of them every day, they put their life on the line. They do a great job.

“So a couple of knuckleheads shouldn’t detract from what they do but what these guys were thinking, I don’t know. That’s why they’re not there anymore.”  As of now, 12 agents and 10 Army officials have been busted for soliciting prostitutes during a business trip to Cartagena, Columbia earlier this month. The men brought more than 20 hookers back to their room, one of whom has been identified as Dania Londano Suarez.  The 24-year-old single mother’s photos have been plastered all over the media forcing her to go into hiding, according to her lawyer.

For now, the agents have been fired, or forced into early retirement, as punishment for their acts. Agent Paula Reed—the highest ranking black woman in  the Secret Service—is credited with jumping into action as soon as she got word of the scandal.
