The Beastie Boys performed “The New Style,” off their debut album Licensed To Ill, for the third season of Chappelle’s Show. The footage never aired since Dave Chappelle decided to bounce, but yesterday the show’s co-founder Neal Brennan uploaded the clip to YouTube in light of the recent passing of Adam “MCA” Yauch.

Heavily sampled throughout the years, “The New Style” is the cut where Ad-Rock famously yells, “Feel the beat, drop!” Watch the video, recorded back in 2004, of MCA, Ad-Rock and Mike D, along with Mixmaster Mike, performing in NYC on a boat on the East River, below. #RIPMCA
