T.I. takes the title of his song “Live Your Life” to heart. During an appearance on Hot 97’s morning show with Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg (and K. Foxx) yesterday (May 16th), the Kang was asked his opinion on gay marriage.

“To be absolutely honest with you, I don’t care, okay.” said Tip. “I don’t see what the big deal is, why some people are so against it. Why would you be so against it if it doesn’t affect you or your lifestyle? I’m not in that world and it doesn’t affect me if they did or didn’t.”

And there you have it. Tip also dismissed questions about Azealia Banks vs. Iggy Azalea and also explained why he chose to let Meek Mill, who was previously signed Grand Hustle, head on over to Maybach Music Group. “I had my own issues, my own battles to fight, which kept me from completely focusing what was best for his career,” explained Tip, alluding to his past legal issues. “And he had an opportunity and I could not match that opportunity at that time simply because I was indisposed. Far be it for me to hold someone back because of my misfortune.”

T.I. new album, Trouble Man, is due out September 4th. Watch his sit down with Hot 97 below.
