T.I. may be thinking about retiring from the rap game, but his acting career is still going strong. The father of six has landed the role of a bounty hunter, in the film Identity Theft, reports Deadline.com.

Tip will join the likes of Jason Bateman, and Melissa McCarthy in the Universal Pictures film. The comedy finds Bateman’s character eluding authorities alongside McCarthy who becomes his accomplice after attempting to steal his identity.

Before being slapped with concurrent one-year prison sentences, the Atlanta rapper was busy building his acting resume appearing in Takers, American Gangster and ATL. On the small screen, T.I. guest starred on HBO’s now defunct series, Entourage, and will appear on Kelysey Grammer’s series Boss on Starz.

On the music front, the Grand Hustle label head is busy promoting his artist, Iggy Azalea’smusic and will drop his eight solo album Trouble Man this fall.
