Nicki Minaj and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton were once close, but his  insinuation that one of her dancers was involved in a fan’s death, put him smackdab on her bad side. Minaj took to Twitter Wednesday (May 31) to blast Hilton for posting the story which she says was inaccurate.  “@PerezHilton my dancers had nothing to do w/this tragedy,” she wrote. “No one in my entourage was questioned or arrested. They all flew home from Japan.”

The incident occurred on May 25 in Japan, when Irish student, Nicola Furlon, was found dead in her hotel room, after attending Minaj’s concert. Hilton posted a photo on his site of a suspect who he pegged as one of the “Right by My Side,” rapper’s dancers. “@PerezHilton that person on your sight (sic) is NOT my dancer. We do NOT know the men in custody. Too much misleading information,” she wrote.

Hilton smoothed things over by apologizing for his error, and removed the story from his site.
