A Brooklyn teenager is facing legal action for attacking the dean of his school, with an umbrella. Cavon Telfair, 18, was arrested Wednesday (June 13) on assault charges stemming from an alleged beating administered to Lincoln High School dean Shawn O’Connor. The altercation erupted after O’Connor accused Telfair of throwing rocks at faculty members.

Telfair, who is the brother of NBA player Sebastian Telfair, was reportedly seen throwing rocks and bottles, at which point he was he was approached by O’Connor. Clearly the conversation didn’t go as planned as O’Connor not only caught the fade, but school officials had to jump in and restrain the student.

Unfortunately for the youngster, his family’s reputation precedes him. All three of his brothers have gotten into trouble with the law. One brother went to jail for allegedly shooting a drug dealer in the face, another brother is accused of trying to bribe a police officer, and Sebastain was arrested back in 2007 for driving with a suspended license.
