Who says Hip-Hop doesn't big up Father's Day? FUSE caught up with a number of artist, including an allegedly high or drunken DMX, Erick Sermon, Sean Price and Jim Jones, to discuss their feelings about Father's Day and fatherhood in general.
"I think it's special to have a father in your life," says EPMD's Erick Sermon. "Usually, in our community, we have absentee fathers. So those who do take care of their kids or have an influence in their kids like, I have respect for that."
"I have a son and what I try to do for him is everything that my pops wasn't able to do for me," added Harlem's Jim Jones. "And even though I don't get to spend the time that I want to because of this business, I make sure that I'm there for everything that he needs me to be there for and I make sure that he has everything he ever wants that I couldn't get... Whether he recognizes or not, I got someone that's going to love me unconditionally. Whether I'm rich or broke, it's going to go down the same."
