Rock the Bells went off without a hitch for day one of this year’s two-day festival at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, Calif. Saturday (Aug. 18). With the likes of Common, 2 Chainz, J. Cole, Jadakiss, DMX, Eve and more taking the main stage, Kid Cudi wrapped things up with an energetic headlining set.

The Ohio native wrapped up the concert festival bringing out King Chip  (aka Chip the Ripper) and Hit-Boy for their “Old School Caddy” record off the producer/rapper’s HitStory free release.

Being that he is a native of the Inland Empire, taking the stage at RTB 2012 marked an important moment for Hit-Boy. “I just performed for thousands of people in my hometown. F-ckin awesome.G.O.O.D thank you @ducidni for that moment,” he wrote.

Unfortunately, with the high of performing came a low moment, since his credit cards and id were stolen while he was on stage. Nonetheless, Hit-Boy didn’t let the moment ruin his experience. “Sometimes you don’t know what you’re able to handle until you’re put into the situation. Believe in You.”

Day two of RTB goes down Sunday (Aug. 19). Peep Hit-Boy’s performance with Cudi below.

Aside from the guest appearances, Kudi rolled thru his musical library, and made mention of his forthcoming Indicud album.
