B.G. Pens First Letter Since 14-Year Prison Sentence
Born Christopher Dorsey, the former Cash Money artist, has a positive outlook despite the idea of spending more than a decade behind bars. “I want everyone to kno that I truly appreciate all the Love + Prayers I have received over the past 15 months,” he wrote.
“I cant began to express how much I THANK Yall for the support you all have giving me through out this whole situation, Ive been going through. It’s finally over, I kno my fate, I know what’s in front of me, and Im ready to tackle it HEAD ON.”
Calling the sentence a “small thing to a GIANT” B.G. vowed to never let his spiritual body be held down by the jail bid. “They can lock up My Body but they Cant lock up my Soul. I just been laying back writing handling this situation like a Real N***a should. Im staying Prayed up, Keeping my head up.”
In spite of the heavy sentence, B.G. refuses to veer from his beliefs saying that he “DON’T RAT, DON’T SNITCH, DON’T BEND, DON’T FOLD.”
B.G. was arrested in 2009, during a routine traffic stop. Police found firearms in the vehicle, which had been reported stolen. He pleaded guilty to charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon, and conspiracy to obstruct justice.
