You can always catch Bun B in a fresh pair of kicks, but the Trill OG iss also cognizant of the fact that many people can’t even afford shoes. The Texas rap legend has been named the ambassador of Sole Drive, via BlackCelebrityGiving, a charity with the goal of raising 20,000 pairs of shoes to be donated to the needy across the world.

“As much as I love shoes, it doesn’t hold a candle to the love I have for the people of this world,” said Bun B in a statement. “Especially those who can’t necessarily help themselves. Partnering with Sole Drive makes nothing but good sense to me. I’m proud to be a part of this movement.”

The campaign kicked off in September and is powered by Snoball.com, which allows fans and supporters to donate new and gently used shoes that will be distributed to 20 select charitable organizations around the world.

Back in August, to celebrate the second annual “Bun B Day” and the “Pocket Full of Stones” rapper celebrated by hosting a food drive.
