Now this is a bright spot in a day filled with Hurricane Sandy news. MC Lyte comes through with an all-new cut called “Dope Style.” The song is the second single from the forthcoming DJ Mick Boogie hosted #brooklynoriginals mixtape that is being released in collaboration with adidas Originals, SLAM, and XXL.
The mixtape is in celebration of the Brooklyn Nets and who better to contribute a cut than Lyte the MC? The pioneering female rapper’s flow sounds in tune spitting over production from Caviar & OZ that samples Bob James’ classic “Nautilus.”#brooklynoriginals is out Wednesday October 31, 2012.
