With the calendar year coming to an end and Amber Rose in her third trimester, Wiz Khalifa has his hands full. During a quick chat with radio personality Angie Martinez at Hot 97, Wiz shared how he juggles the impending arrival of his baby boy, his sophomore album, O.N.I.F.C, and marriage plans.
Khalifa revealed several details during his New York visit. First, the Taylor Gang rapper confirmed that Rose will in fact rap on his upcoming album. Along with her spitting debut, Rose and Khalifa will also postpone their wedding until after the birth of their baby allowing the model to be more involved in planning the event.
In the meantime, the couple has decided to sign a marriage license. “We’re gonna’ get like a license marriage,” he shared. “In a couple of weeks we’re gonna have that done. I’ve said it, I don’t think people really understood what I was saying. They’re like ‘Yeah okay, whatever.’ Definitely, like in the next few weeks, before or after I get off tour.
The world will just have to wait for the anticipated ceremony, but as for legalizing their commitment to one another, the two are wasting no time. “You just sign the papers or whatever and it’s like a legal thing. It’s like ‘Bam,’ you’re married, and then when you have the ceremony that’s when you invite the family.”
As every bride should, Ms. Rose wants the ability to have a few drinks at her wedding, include the baby in wedding photos, and maybe even pass down her gown to a family member of daughter, if she ever has one.
The Pittsburgh native’s other baby is a week away from its due date. His sophomore album O.N.I.F.C is scheduled to hit stores and online December 4, and though, he recorded the album pre-baby, the project isn’t short on love-related bars with much of the content focused on his lady love.
