New York Newsday reports that the “Work Hard Play Hard” rapper was on a plane that had just taken off from Laguardia in NYC when the pilot noticed that there was a malfunction with the landing gear. The plane, which was headed to Pittsburgh, was diverted to Westchester County Airport where it landed after circling the airport a number of times to burn excess fuel.

“We had superstars on the plane and we didn’t know what was going on, for real,” Taylor Gang’s Anthony Tamborino told News12.

Wiz, in true 2012 rap star fashion, kept fans informed of his predicament via Twitter. “Man fucc. We are stucc!!!,” he tweeted, followed by “Still in the muh fuggin airport :-(” a couple of hours later.

The Gang was on the way to a show at West Virginia University and by that evening had chartered a private jet to make the date. Crisis averted.
