With the female rap scene stacked with fresh meat, Miami’s “baddest b-tch” Trina returns with her new mixtape Back 2 Business .
The 305 princess released the project—a 20-track mixtape executive produced by French Montana— earlier today. Though Trina has been on a short musical hiatus since the Diamonds Are Forever mixtape in March 2011, she is ready to give it another go. Back 2 Business, also shares the rap diva’s 34th birthday.
Hoping to make a splash and serve momentum for her next studio album since 2010’s Amazin’, Back 2 Business packs many punches including 16 unheard tracks. Trina spits alongside the likes of French Montana and DJ Khalad on “B-tch Bad” and teams up with new artist Brianna Perry on “Supa Bad.” Other appearances include down south rappers Gunplay, Slim Thug, and Dorrough, while The Renegades, Basement Beatz, and Laze & Royal hold down the production.
The “I’m Back” rapper celebrated her birthday and mixtape with friends and family at the Back 2 Business listening party at Circle House recording studios in Miami, Fl, last week.
