Atlanta representing Hip-Hop artists Big Boi and B.o.B. are taking their gaming to the next level. EA has announced that the two MCs have collaborated to create the official theme song, titled titled "Double Or Nothing," for the upcoming Army of TWO The Devil's Cartel video game.
Army of TWO The Devil's Cartel, the third game in the series developed by Visceral Games, is third person shooter that feature co-op gameplay (thus the "two"). Gamers play as Alpha and Bravo, two operatives of Tactical Worldwide Operations (T.W.O.) going up against a drug cartel in Mexico.
Extending their participation beyond just contributing music, the game itself will feature playable characters created in the rappers' likeness that will also be voiced by each artist. In the game, Big Boi and B.o.B. will play T.W.O. operatives Charles "Chuy" Rendall and Anthony "Baker" Barnes, respectively. Fans who pre-order the title from Gamestop will receive an exclusive Hit-Makers Kit. The kit grants players access to a mission that will allow them to play as Big Boi and B.o.B's characters, along withcustom masks and weapon skins that rappers also designed themselves.
"I love action games, and getting a chance to star in one is definitely something I'm excited about,” said B.o.B. in a press release. "Army of TWO The Devil's Cartel has everything I'm looking for in a great game – intensity and huge explosions and destruction."
Added Big Boi, "Partnering with B.o.B on the Army of TWO The Devil's Cartel theme song and inside the game has been a blast and I can't wait to load it up, hear the song and see myself in the game."
