Looking for a reminder that humanity is littered with vagrants? Last night’s broadcast of the NFL’s Patriots vs. 49ers game was interrupted by President Barack Obama’s speech at a memorial for Sandy Hook victims in Newtown, CT. A college football player from the University of North Alabama was not pleased, and voiced his displeasure with a patently racist tweet.
“Take that ni–er off the tv, we wanna watch football!,” tweeted Bradley Patterson, uninvited walk-on long snapper according to AL.com. Patterson was swiftly booted from the team, But, that was far from the only insensitive and racist tweet of the night.
