Much like Young Jeezy and 2 Chainz earlier in the day, Meek Mill took to his native Philadelphia to donate Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve.
Armed with only a single camera and seemingly not much of a plan, Meek hopped in his car and drove to the local Toys R’ Us to purchase a ton of games, toys and gifts for families and children in Philadelphia.
“I don’t believe in Santa but I just wanted to put a smile on some kids faces tonight now that I have an opportunity to. I’ve been around kids like that all my life that ain’t have nothing and I’ve seen that, “Meek told a local Fox reporter in the area.
Meek would go on to take his gifts to The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Family Residence and gave the presents away to the very appreciative families that were in the shelter on Christmas Eve.
“These families are less fortunate and come from very different home settings. This is a great blessing and I want to say thank you to Meek Mill and the entire organization,” a Salvation Army rep said on camera.
