Kenyon Martin has followed in the footsteps of Terrell Owens, and other athletes looking to unload property. Martin put his sprawling Dalworthington, Texas mansion on the market for a cool $5 million. The former NBA player’s one-time residence is a 15,000-square-foot “Mediterranean” estate with five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, marble floors, crystal chandeliers, a two-bedroom guest house and a plethora of other features.
Sitting on 8.4 acres of land, the home boasts fireplaces, a private pond, four bowling alleys, two water slides, dual elevators, a gym, wet bars, a media room, a game room, and a 10-car garage.
Martin purchased the sprawling digs back in 2008 for $3 million. The house has an assessment value of $2,125,000 million thanks to the improvement efforts made on the residence, and given all those additions, the property taxes will run the new owner $63,522 per year.
Back in February Martin—who used to date Trina—signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, and headed overseas to ball in China, during the NBA lockout. He’s now a free agent, which may contribute to why the father of three is looking to unload the massive property.
