Capital Steez’s Final Recorded Freestyle [VIDEO]

It’s only been four short days ago that the Hip-Hop community lost one of its young rising stars in Capital Steez.

Prior to his untimely death on Christmas Eve, Capital Steez participates in what could be his last recorded cypher. Steez stops by the Ethik clothing store to spit some fire with fellow Brooklyn MC’s Wati Heru and Dirty Sanchez.

This video shows the glimpses of potential that the young Pro Era member had that was taken from this Earth entirely too soon. On Christmas Eve, the 19-year-old rapper who had just recently appeared on the Aprocalypse mixtape with Joey Bada$$ and the Pro Era crew, died of an apparent suicide.

He cryptically left one final tweet stating “The End” before friends close to the rapper confirmed that he had indeed passed away.

This final video shows the young talent in good spirits, even laughing off the final few bars of his verse during this cypher. Hip-Hop Wired continues to send its deepest condolences to the Dewar family and the Pro Era crew.

Check out the video of Capital Steez’s last recorded freestyle down after the jump.
