What’s beef? Apparently, it’s nothing but a promotional tool for rapper Cassidy, who returns with a new record titled “Another One I Like.” Interestingly enough, Meek Mill’s long-time producer Jahlil Beats crafted the soundscape for Philadelphia rapper, which is sure to spark some minor controversy.

The producer has openly spoken on his stance on the beef, saying “It’s good for Hip-Hop at the end of the day, and I hope it doesn’t go past staying on wax.”

On the track itself, Cassidy details why his hunger for more has set him back oh so many times. “I be stressing a lot/ Instead of investing the guap/I went shopping with the check that I got/I’m thankful for the success that I got/But you can never have enough, no matter rather you successful or not,” spits the Hustla. From there, he raps about society’s issues with vanity, and why complacency isn’t always a bad thing.

At the moment, there’s no word on if Cassidy’s new music will appear on a forthcoming mixtape or LP. It appears that the beef has subsided with Meek Mill. Let’s see if Cass can keep his newfound relevancy.
