Former DTP spitter, Shawnna, is back on her rap stuff and follows up her “S*x,” release with the latest effort “All We Do If Get It,” with Jak Frost.
Despite last year’s She’s Alive mixtape which failed to meet expectations by clocking in at less than 60,000 views to date, the daughter of Buddy Guy is seeking a return with a vengeance.
“All We Do Is Get It” complements her hardcore side with a more uptempo and street feel. Shawnna’s trap house bars are a stark contrast from her last record “S*x,” which showed off her much more sensual side. In this record she states:
May we take your order?/straight up business mothaf–ka bought some baking soda/a couple pots/a couple stoves
